Clone Chess Engine List

This is a genuinely finish rundown of all Winboard/UCI chess motors that were ended up being unapproved duplicates of honest to goodness motors. I may evacuate a few clones that did not get conveyed generally. I am not going to rundown fake "overhaul renditions" of honest to goodness motors. There are an excess of clones to show every one of them, so I need to list those that tricked us sufficiently long to play in a noteworthy competition. A large portion of the software engineer names appeared under "Cloner" are not genuine, but rather some of them are. This rundown is planned to be a "stay away from rundown". I feel firmly that Winboard individuals ought not play clone motors in any competition! The main exemption being the motors checked with a mark (*) demonstrating that the motor is no more a clone.

Jan, 2011 – Added Scaramanga

June, 2009 – Removed Caiozz, Light, Quartax and Serifinus, they were identities of the clone motor Lord King

Feb, 2009 – Removed LuiZa from the rundown: creator expresses that Faile copyright was inside compress record and there was no endeavor to betray anybody. Expelled Lion++ and Cipollino from the rundown: the first determination of this project as a clone was in blunder.

Jan, 2009 – Added LION++ over into the clone list in addition to another clone motor, Cipollino; Kerostave creator distinguished.

Nov, 2008 – Added Rooster

July, 2008 – xyclOps and Oxygen included

Walk 17, 2008 – LION++ by Giancarlo Delli Colli from Italy has been expelled from the clone list. The ICGA launched out this motor from its competition on the grounds that it was resolved to be a clone of Fruit. Sources: (ChessNinja) (Internet Chess Club) The competition use of LION++ to the prestigious ICGA's fourteenth Computer Chess Tournament neglected to specify its history: as a result of this application structure blunder it abused ICGA's clone principle. The LION++ code was normally known not a Fruit subordinate and the creator was not attempting to keep a mystery, in this manner it is not a genuine clone. It appears the creator basically misjudged the competition rules.

Change: July 11, 2007 Michael Ehrig distinguished from Germany by Rainer Serfling

Change: June 11, 2007 Hardware Harvey distinguished as Hiarcs clone by Rainer Serfling
