Scams on Craigslist and Other Classifieds Websites

While most online transactions are seamless, you should use caution when selling high dollar items on a classifieds website such as craigslist.  Look for common warning signs that someone may be trying to scam you.

• The buyer can’t meet in person because of a number of reasons (i.e., they are a soldier in Iraq, they are a marine biologist, etc.).
• The buyer requested you send the item to their “shipping agent.”
• The buyer offered you more money than you were asking.
• The buyer asked you to send money through Western Union or MoneyGram to the “shipping agent.”
• The buyer only sends you text messages and won’t speak to you on the phone.
• If you received an email seemingly from PayPal that states you received money, look for these signs to see if the email is a fake:
  • The email does not  address you by your first and last name
  • The email says the money is on “hold” until you complete an action (i.e. send money through Western Union, or click a link to submit a tracking number).
• You can easily see if you received money by logging in to your PayPal account (do not click any links within the email).  If you’ve been paid you’ll see the payment in your account.

If any of the above happens to you, end communication with the potential buyer.  Always remember that craigslist and other similar sites are intended for local pick up.  To learn more about how you are protected as a seller, visit the Security Center.

According to the apple community this is a quick fix.Before you made those step.make sure you have internet and this is no a simple answer like Yes I have,better get back to your modem router and switcher and power reset everything starting from 1-modem,2-router and last but no less 3-switcher in case u have it,and i almost forgot after this process it is ready the apple tv for the reset

Unfortunately, a number of users appear to have encountered this problem. Some of these users have reported that the problem just disappears the following day or shortly after. Other users have found various other solutions to this problem.

Firstly, are you receiving any date and time errors when you turn on your Apple TV?

Check that you are properly connected to the Internet, by ensuring that you have a proper IP address and not one starting with 169. Also check that your location for the iTunes Store is set correctly, if so you might try changing it and then changing it back.

If the problem persists try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router, or if this doesn't work you might like to try a restore.

A=432 Hz, known as Verdi’s ‘A’ is an alternative tuning that is mathematically consistent with the universe. There is a theory that the change from 432 Hz to 440 Hz was dictated by Nazi propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels. He used it to make people think and feel a certain manner, and to make them a prisoner of a certain consciousness. Did Aliens Leave Behind This 2,800-Year-Old Nokia?

Archaeologists digging in Austria found an ancient clay tablet that looks like a cell or cordless phone with keys etched with cuneiform characters that would imply it originally came from Mesopotamia. What is it? Is it evidence of an advanced civilization or time travel?

The tablet was reportedly found earlier this year by archaeologists digging in Fuschl am See, a city in the Austrian state of Salzburg. There’s not much information on what the researchers were digging for in this region but it probably wasn’t cuneiform tablets. Yet that’s what they found. Even more shocking, the tablet strongly resembles the cell phones they were most likely using to take pictures of it.

The tablet was dated to around the 13th century BCE. By that time, the Sumerian writing style known as cuneiform had already been around for a few thousand years. Cuneiform tablets aren’t unusual – an estimated 2 million have been excavated. The language was a mystery until the 19th century when its code was deciphered.

However, this particular tablet is unusual for a number of reasons. First, it was found in Austria, not Iran or one of the other modern countries that was once Sumer or Mesopotamia. The only cuneiform object found further away from there is the controversial Fuente Magna Bowl, which was discovered in Tiahuanaco in modern-day Bolivia. Since there’s no evidence that the Sumerians visited this ancient pre-Columbian city, how did the bowl or the knowledge of cuneiform get there?

By cell phone, of course! A controversial theory proposed by author Zecharia Sitchin is that aliens known as the Anunnaki came from Nibiru (the rumored Planet X beyond Neptune) and created the Sumerian civilization. The tablet looks surprisingly like a modern phone, with the 12 keys, a display and a ‘talk’ button. Could these extraterrestrials have tried to introduce the Sumerians to a phone-like communications device, only to find they weren’t ready for it and dialed them back to a stylus and clay tablets?

Is this what they could have had?

It would be interesting if some cuneiform expert could translate the characters on the ancient phone (unfortunately, Google translate does not yet recognize cuneiform).

Did some Anunnaki accidentally leave his phone in Austria? Probably not. The archaeologists believe the tablet was most likely  brought there by traders from Earth.

Is the tablet’s resemblance to a modern cell phone just an odd coincidence, a hoax  or evidence of time travel or alien contact? If only some phone hacker knew cuneiform.
