The Honorable [FIRST NAME LAST NAME]
U.S. House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Representative [LAST NAME]:

I am a Registered Technologist (R.T.) working in [CITY, STATE] and I [ELABORATE ON YOUR PRACTICE AND/OR YOUR TIME IN THE COMMUNITY]. I am writing in support of H.R. 1148, the Medicare Access to Radiology Care Act, or MARCA. This bipartisan bill will address Medicare's lack of recognition of the Radiologist Assistant (RA) profession and the patient access problems caused by that failure.  I want you to know that I wholeheartedly endorse this legislation and encourage you to cosponsor this bill.

The RA profession was created in the mid-1990's in response to an increased demand and need for complex medical imaging services and a shortage of radiologists.  All stakeholders in the radiology community - radiologists, technologists, and certifying bodies - collaborated to develop a comprehensive, advanced education and training program for technologists so that they could perform radiologic assessments and procedures (excluding interpretations) that traditionally were performed by radiologists.  Twenty-nine states license or otherwise recognize RAs. The RA level is the next step for R.T.s who are interested in pursuing additional education and training in order to expand the scope of services they can provide to patients in need of medical imaging.

RAs always practice under the on-site supervision of a radiologist. They make radiology practices more efficient. They free up the radiologist to spend more time on interpretations and consultations, which enhances patient safety and improves outcomes. RAs spend more time with the patient, empowering the patient to become better informed about his or her procedure. They can reduce wait times and increase patient satisfaction.

Unfortunately, Medicare has not kept pace with this important development in the field of radiology; the law has not been amended to specifically recognize RAs as Medicare providers. This failure means that RAs are not permitted to provide to Medicare beneficiaries the services they are trained and allowed to perform under state law. By not allowing radiology practices and departments to make effective use of RAs, Medicare is promoting inefficiency in health care delivery, jeopardizing timely access to diagnostic and interventional procedures for Medicare beneficiaries (particularly in rural areas), and ignoring potential cost savings.  RAs are losing their jobs, and university RA training programs are on the verge of suspending or terminating their programs.  R.T.s who were considering additional education and training to become an RA are witnessing the swift depletion of RA jobs due to the lack of Medicare recognition of the RA profession. This situation eliminates professional growth opportunities for RTs and sends radiology back to a pre-1990's state where there is an insufficient number of mid-level professionals available to assist radiologists in providing high quality medical imaging services.

H.R. 1148 would correct this problem. It would amend the Medicare statute to explicitly recognize RAs. State law would dictate scope of practice and supervision requirements. Services performed by an RA would be billed by the radiologist but would be reimbursed at a lower rate (85% of the physician rate).  This would enable Medicare to realize savings and should ensure that there is no adverse impact on the federal budget.

This legislation has no opposition and is supported by all stakeholders in the medical imaging community, including radiologists.  It preserves medical education programs, jobs, and patient access to medical imaging services.  And it will not increase the federal deficit.  I hope I can count on you to cosponsor H.R. 1148.  Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Elongated skulls from peru

Nephilim Secrets:

On Tuesday's show, author and researcher L.A. Marzulli discussed his ongoing work on the 'Watchers' and the cosmic battle instigated by the Nephilim or fallen angels, whom he believes have tinkered with mankind's DNA. He shared his startling discovery in Peru of what might be Nephilim skulls (see related photos). In Paracas, on the coast of Peru, he and Richard Shaw, the director of the 'Watcher' series, visited a necropolis, a huge desert cemetery, and a museum that had some forty skulls originally from the graveyard. While some of the elongated heads were shaped by "cradle-boarding," a type of skull binding that led to cranial deformation, others appear to be genuinely anomalous, having just one parietal plate, he detailed. Some of the skulls also have a large pronounced ridge, and a heart-shaped dome in the rear that can't be achieved through cradle-boarding, he continued. "I believe we are looking at some sort of genetic manipulation...that are the remains of the Nephilim," from around 3,000 to 3,500 years ago, he added.

They brought back a red hair sample from one of the Peruvian skulls, and arranged for comparative spectroscopic tests with other samples. Curiously, the ancient Peruvian hair matched the patterns of a blond hair of an alleged alien hybrid, Marzulli reported (he contends that the aliens associated with abductions are actually the Nephilim). In the days of Noah, there was an ancient grid system that covered the planet which worked with megalithic structures, he said, and he believes he saw remnants of this in Peruvian locations such as at Cuzco. This ancient grid was used by the Nephilim to enslave humankind, and now according to biblical prophecy, the modern grid system (satellites etc.) will be used to control the population, he warned.

A site known as American Stonehenge in New Hampshire is thought to be around 4,000 years old, and he said it shows evidence that human sacrifice took place there, and may have been another location of the ancient Nephilim. Marzulli believes that the Antichrist figure will be a hybrid or Nephilim, and when he comes into power, you won't be able to buy, sell, or trade without the 'mark,' which once accepted will alter people's DNA, turning them into Nephilim or "the seed of the serpent."

In tandem with his 6/11/13 appearance, L.A. Marzulli sends several images and captions.

This Ica Museum skull came from the Chongos Necropolis. It has only one parietal plate whereas human skulls have two. I believe it is the result of genetic engineering. Click on image to view larger.

Museum comparison of elongated and normal skull, Paracas. Click on image to view larger.

This is a cast we we made from the original at Sr. Juan Navarro's Paracas museum. I believe it is a female and it too has only one parietal plate without a hint of a parietal suture.

Alternative Treatments & Cancer:

Alternative Treatments & Cancer:
On Wednesday's show, health freedom advocate and author Ty Bollinger discussed alternative treatments and approaches against cancer. He believes that cancer rates have greatly increased in the last thirty years due to toxic factors and carcinogens in the environment. Among the factors, he pointed to such things as chemtrails, GMO foods, aspartame, fluoride, and EMF which weren't in our environment decades ago. Bollinger believes these factors have compromised many people's immune systems, making them less able to identify cancer cells and destroy them, as would be done by a normally healthy individual. He cited an alarming statistic from the World Health Organization-- 41% of people alive today will eventually come down with some type of cancer.

We're not winning the 'War on Cancer' (declared by Pres. Nixon over 40 years ago), as more people are dying than ever before, and standard treatments like surgery, radiation and chemotherapy have remained largely unchanged over the years. The reason, perhaps, that things have stayed the same is that these standard approaches are extremely lucrative, Bollinger remarked, adding that 'Big Pharma' seeks profits for their medications, while there's an effort to push people away from natural remedies.

Breast cancer and prostate cancer could be associated with a lack of exercise, he reported, as exercise stimulates the lymphatic system-- a primary detoxification system in the body. Bollinger recommends jumping on a mini-trampoline for 20 minutes a day, which he says is a great activator for the lymph system. He also commented on cases where parents are forced to agree to chemo treatments for their children when they have cancer, which he considers a usurping of parental rights. For a list of alternative cancer treatments, check out a recap from his 2/1/11 show appearance.

Sunken Artifacts & Atlantis:

First hour guest, author, filmmaker, and teacher Carmen Boulter talked about an underwater discovery of Egyptian period artifacts. Because of a UNESCO regulation, the artifacts must be kept in the sea water they were found in in order to be preserved. The artifacts were from a city called Thonis (Egyptian name) or Heracleion (Greek name), which was submerged by a series of earthquakes, the final one in the 8th century AD. Boulter announced that she's working on a new documentary series called The New Atlantis-- she believes the main land mass of Atlantis (about the size of Texas) was submerged in a location near the Azores, after an asteroid hit in 13,660 BC.
