1-Make a 2' coax jumper and connect the tcii power ground adapter to the in from the coax feeding oulet

 2-From the out of the power ground adapter connect your coax cable that feed the modem

3-This extra protection no only will save your modem ,this will avoid any future damaged to other devices connect to the router on hardwired connection like a pc or dvd player; in addtion if your have a magic jack connect to the router .this will drained the extra power that magic device will be back feeding to the network and create slow and jitters connection on the red network
